Matt LeBlanc Inks $1.29 Million Deal To Lead Top Gear In 2017

Matt LeBlanc has agreed to return to Top Gear and may even double his money with a new £1m deal.

However, BBC insiders have now told the Mirror that coy Matt has verbally agreed to return and will sign a new one year deal shortly.

He and Chris Harris are the two best things about Top Gear.

Maybe in the re-vamp, they can change the "panel" format of "Star in the Rally Car/Reasonable Car" back to just one celeb?

Tanner Faust from American Top Gear would be fantastic on BCC and they should give him a shot.

Now add Rory Reid and Chris Harris and you have a team that is as perfect as Clarkson, Hammond, and May--but for different reasons.

They also need to drop the interview segment. I'd ink a deal with Jay Leno to do car lover vignettes.

I DVR the show so I can fast forward through the interview section. Problem solved. But yes, I rather have 20 minutes of car stuff instead.
