Images Of The Radical Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 Concept Leak Ahead Of Pebble Beach Reveal

Pictures of the Vision Mercedes-Maybach 6 concept have been leaked onto the internet ahead of its official reveal at the Pebble Beach Concours later this week.

The leaked images, shown on Carscoops, reveal the car's exterior and interior in full, showing its curvacious body and gullwing doors, as well as a hi-tech cabin that features a full-width head-up display system.

No technical specifications have been revealed, however Mercedes-Maybach has confirmed that the concept car's body is almost six metres long, making it close to 1.5 metres longer than an AMG GT and 80cm longer than an S-Class. It features a large front grille that suggests a large petrol powertrain could be under the bonnet.

I freakin' love it. Built to sports-car production proportions, this is what the AMG GT should have looked like, without the toothy grin.

Nice. Proportions look completely unrealistic but unrealistic is what concepts are at their most extreme. Front end has me thing Buick more than a Mercedes product.

If you look at the previous Maybach Excellero coupe concept, the greenhouse showed up on the new S-Class coupe intact. I suspect the greenhouse from this concept will reappear, but not much else. I like it though.

I imagine this is built off the AMG-GT platform or the upcoming platform that will under pin new SL/SLC and all the other coupes MB is planning. This is quite exotic and the tail end a bit overdone. I can't imagine this makes production as seen, its too hard to see out of front and back w/the body curves. Still, its an insane concept... wow.
