2017 Kia Cadenza 101: EVERYTHING You Need To Know About Kia’s All-New Luxury Sedan
As with just about every automotive product launch we attend, we’re here to give you the lowdown on the vehicle. Though Agent 001’s time behind the wheel is over, one thing we’re not through yet is providing you with the latest and greatest information.
And our friends from Kia had plenty to share.

That’s because this all-new Cadenza is a pretty big deal to the company. While there’s no question the Korean automaker has made significant headway with its traditional sedans and compact sport-utility vehicles, it hasn’t fared out as well as Hyundai.
THINK: How many last-gen Cadenzas do you see on the road? In comparison, how many Hyundai Genesis sedans do you see on the road? Is my point clear?
While the company could have put it to bed, it’s giving it another go with the all-new Cadenza. As you’ll see in the presentation below, it may not be an Audi, BMW or Mercedes-Benz slayer but it will certainly make a case for itself against the likes of Buick, Lexus and the Toyota Avalon, which has gotten rather pricey in its latest model years.
Let us know what you think about what you see in the preso below!

Given the option - I would prefer a Buick La Crosse. This is not a big obvious change for the car - and it does not sell well here already. I expect the car to fare no better than the last one. This is a case where a shrinking market for that type of car - FWD full size - has largely moved to large crossovers.

This is on a different platform than the Genesis despite what the author implies.
