Rumors: 2017 Toyota Tundra, Price, Release date, Engine

The ongoing version of the Tundra has been around for nearly a decade and it shows. The truck is no longer as efficient and as powerful as some of its competitors but it still is as rugged as ever. Many said that the upcoming 2017 Toyota Tundra would be an all new truck. However, this seems highly unlikely at this point mostly because Toyota hasn’t said a word about it. On top of that, there haven’t been any development mules spotted which are strange for a car that would be expected sometimes at the end of the year. Instead, we believe that the 2017 Tundra, and most likely the 2018 version, will be just a minor refresh of the ongoing truck.

The Tundra looks like Admiral Ackbar, military commander of the Rebel Alliance from the Star Wars episode.

The Toyota Turdball just doesn't have a shot at relevance in the pickup wars.

Why are crap links like this even posted? I could have told you the 2017 Tundra is a carryover model with no changes. Somehow this is news?

Toyota has always seemingly just but a toe in the water when it comes to full size pick up trucks. They started with mini sized V6 and V8 trucks before this model debuted. Now "in the game" they still bring a knife to a gun fight and don't offer a diesel engine, a dually option for farmers and horsey set, SuperDuty models etc. It is a huge market and skimming is ok I suppose, but it isn't how I would choose to address this very large and lucrative market.
