VIDEO: Stephen Colbert steals Jalopnik Silverado video?

This is hysterical...from our friends over at Jalopnik...Go get em' Spinelli!!

Yes, it's now bigger, longer and uncut from the spec ad we saw last week. We've managed to get our hands on the full 60 second version of Chevrolet's Amerigasm over the new-for-2007 Silverado -- it's part of the "Our Country, Our Truck" ad campaign, and let's just say it's got something for everyone. Everyone that is, except for Stephen Colbert. We've now instituted a very sophisticated anti-Colbert tagging on the video, in order to make certain Stephen doesn't get his grubby hands on it. Of course, he could just say "I'm sorry." But that'll probably be too easy for the right wing-nut. As for the Campbell-Ewald produced ad -- it's got Rosa Parks, MLK Jr., Nixon, the Vietnam war and oh yes, the 9/11 aftermath. Soak it all in boys and girls, this is "Our Country." – Ray Wert

Did Jalopnik make that ad, if Yes, then I understand. If NO, what the hell do they want.

That is the cheapest, most hick ad campaign I have ever seen. Maybe the "BIG 3" are suffering because they cater only to the current buyers of their vehicles.

Awful, and in bad taste, in my opinion.

I don't get it. What does this post have to do with anything? Am I missing something? Is there some feud with Stephen Colbert I don't know about?

Oh, and Agent 001, keep your politics to yourself. People come here to talk about Cars not your political views. Even if they are about car commercials.

By the way, Colbert is a Left Wing Liberal, not a "right wing-nut"

If you watch Colbert every day, like I do, than you(people in general) will figure out that he is just making fun of the right wing-nuts, he hates them as much as Stewart does.

I like how does it look, but new future Ford F-450 looks better actually in this commercial they say: "That's our country, that's our truck"
Yes but America already 50 years prefer Ford F-series why!?! :)
