European Thieves May Be Hacking Into Tesla Model S Cars And Stealing Them

The Tesla Model S is not a popular vehicle with car thieves thanks to its always-on advanced GPS tracking feature. No - that is very unlikely. I doubt any manufacturer would use vehicle theft as a way of increasing sales.

The reality is the the longer a vehicle is on the market - the more time the bad guys have to find out how to overcome its inherent anti-theft features. Even a software hacker often makes several attempts - before they succeed. I would suggest the it is possible to make a shielded trailer - that a car could be stolen and then driven into - that would do it. ANd I am sure hackers will eventually be able to use a virus to overcome the software too. IF they can hack into the DNC donor server - they certainly can hack into a Tesla.
