Yeah, whoever (copied) posted this article really should've use quotation marks. Every word comes directly from the source article & it gives the impression that AutoSpies have been some kind of "champion" for Caddy. LOL...yeah right!

For the price, this is a really good car. But you shouldn't have to say, "for the price" when wanting to compete in Tier 1.

Another nice job Cadillac. I have not driven the CT6 yet but I have driven the CTS- VSport and other than the obvious visual differences and the automatic transmission it felt a lot like my E39 M5. I was very impressed with the balanced ride, great handling and potent V6. As the Redline review guy said about the CT6, the car feels much smaller than it actually is - exact same could be said about the M5 and the CTS-VSport. Now they need to build me an El Miraj with a nice V12.

THere will NEVER be another V-12 Cadillac to come - you will get a twin turbo V-8 - but there is no way they could justify a V-12 -even if they decide to produce a Rolls Phantom Competitor.

I actually have a CT6 - and it does ride like a smaller car than it is - BUT - I also have an S600 with a V-12 - and the difference in the weight also means that the Cadillac ride is simply not as luxurious as the Mercedes.

The problem with Cadillac - is that while they have produced a great suspension for their smaller cars - the cars themselves are so poorly packaged that they simply do not compete with the Germans. They are small and feel small inside - and have little trunk space. (No spare tire means no trunk space if you get one). Cadillac really needs to start producing real Cadillacs - unabashedly ostentatious big smooth riding quiet cars that can be seen from a mile away (From a mile away - all Audis look the same)

When the first CTS was a tweener - bigger than the car it was priced to compete with - it sold reasonably well. However - the ATS is clearly packaged too small for the 3 series class - and belongs against the CLA. THe current CTS would compete well if priced against the C-class/3 series. ANd the CT6 would blow away the 5 series - and I beleive would compete well with the new E-class in the USA.
