Adam Carolla Drops a Cool $4.4 Million On A Holy Grail Porsche - What Is The Most You Would Spend On Your Dream Car?

It's no secret Adam Carolla is a massive car guy. At Monterey Car Week this year he truly solidified that fact by spending a whopping $4.4 million on a classic Porsche 935 race car!

He even admitted to not really having that kind of money, and needing to now sell off part of his collection to help pay for the car. This particular Porsche has significant racing history and is predicted to continue to climb in value though over the next few years.

The most I would spend on my dream car would depend on my disposable income. For example, if I had $100M to my name, blowing $400,000 on a Rolls Royce is not a big deal. Taking my current finances into account, I already have my dream car in my garage (my Audi Q5).

Also note that people's thinking changes depending upon their circumstances. Folks earning $50K/year might be practical, but if they win $40M in a lottery, suddenly practicality goes out the window and they get a delicious taste of hedonism :-)

My In-My-Dreams Garage is home to a (mint, but out of production) yellow McLaren 12C Spyder, which sells for about $180K (used) at the moment.

He is a race car guy. For my $4M I would have bought 2 restored DB5's and watched them grow in value daily.
