Lexus May Tackle The Upcoming Audi Q2 With Sexy UX Crossovoer

With just a few weeks left until the 2016 Paris Auto Show will open its gates, certain vehicles are starting to reveal their shapes, in more or less official images, and the Lexus UX Concept is just one of them.

Carrying an edgy exterior that brings it closer to its larger siblings, the NX and RX, the study uses cameras instead of the conventional side mirrors and, judging by the handles joined at the B pillar, we might be looking at a pair of rear suicide doors.

I actually like the back, but they going to have to make the NX bigger to slot this one in.

Audi vehicle is more boring than white bread, vanilla, and a vw line up! Plus, Audi is so unreliable, that they spend billions in marketing to make idiots think their POS is a premium VW! Count me in Lexus!

I realize it's a conceptual drawing, but why oh why do designers think that the world wants "edgy"? For that angle it doesn't look attractive at all. Like the most recent Prius tail lights. Sorry, I want something more conservative than this.

Apparently you DON"T realize it is a concept. The final product is always more conservative than the concept.

Same thing you guy's said about the NX and RX and they are selling very well. Looks like the general public doesn't care what you say.

Meh...but it would stand firm in today's cute-ute market with it's instantly-recognizable exterior. Looks like rear door handles are in the C-pillar kink - even-though a coachman door style setup would be fun at least for the concept.

The UX would make sense for Lexus - use it's small CUV platform - to make an expensive small luxury CUV.

My only issue is: Lexus won't offer that with those aggressive fender dimensions or even that wheel/tire package anywhere near that size for production.

Very nice, this is what Mercedes needs instead of the crappy GLA.
