2017 Toyota Land Cruiser – The Timeless Icon
The ongoing Land Cruiser has been updated for the 2016 model year in order to make it a bit more appealing. However, despite that the Land Cruiser is not as successful as Toyota hoped and the main reason for that is its age. Even though it has been recently updated, the car has been released nearly a decade ago and that’s simply too much for a luxury crossover. It seems that anew model is approaching with the 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser redesign.

How do you guys keep pulling bs articles from that site? Here's a line from the first paragraph of this slop:

"It is worth mentioning that this is just a rumor at this point"

The article is filled with things that "might" change.... this is not an article...just random guesses.

It looks exactly like the 1998 model, only uglier.

Unchanged for decades makes it timeless?

Agreed re. looks but I've seen Land Cruisers in Colombia and Bahrain do things that no other truck could.
Ok, maybe a G-class.

the land cruiser sells very well globally. especially in the Middle East/Australia and even Russia. Figures from 2015 show they sold over 120k 200 series land cruisers world wide and that's without including the LX 570. This is the best selling 4wd in the middle eas5 by far. in some countries like Qatar you could stop at a red light and dozens of land cruisers will stop or pass at any given time. all over the place in some parts of the world. it just doesn't sell in the US and Toyota doesn't care. it sells where it needs to sell.

I am sure after the 2016 update annual figures will be higher than 120k for the lc 200. This vehicle might not look the best but it's a weapon

there is no better vehicle for offroad. my 81 just keeps going. 200's aren't the most modern or efficient (terrible 3rd row and abysmal mileage but they are just the best. there is a reason the UN drives them.
