Chinese Electric Supercar To Have Italian Design Roots

Chinese technology R&D specialist Techrules teams with designer Giugiaro Architettura and another Italian firm, custom parts engineering and manufacturing experts L.M. Gianetti, to create a street-legal Chinese supercar powered exclusively by six electric motors.

The developers say the 2-seat, 2-door Techrules supercar will be able to generate 1,018 hp (760 kW) and reach top speed of 217 mph (350 km/h).

Gianetti initially will build 25 Techrules cars per year after the vehicle’s debut at the 2017 Geneva auto show.
