Volkswagen Teases Next Generation Of Electric Vehicles

Volkswagen today released teaser pictures of an electric car that it hopes will lead the automaker out of its diesel scandal and into an electrified future.

The near-production concept previews a compact EV with a long range that VW brand is expected to launch early 2018 or 2019.

The EV will have a distinctive design to differentiate it from VW’s non-electric cars.

Agreed - However it does point to one thing - by the time the Tesla S actually comes out - there might be a lot more competition than people thought. And more will be in the pipeline and announced - as well. Tesla's time in the sun in starting to fade and the longer they take to get to the market - the less likely they are to actually survive. Their sales model pretty much depends on low competition.(No price haggling) - you can bet GM and VW dealers will not be setting ONE price - for them - that would be against the law.
