Rumors: 2018 Dodge Durango

Rumors: 2018 Dodge Durango
The Durango is basically the seven-seat version of the Grand Cherokee. The two share the same platform, similar engines, and the only real differences are on the outside. However, because their platform dates back all the way back in the early 2000s, a new model will have to be released in order to remain competitive. Unfortunately, up to this point, not much has been said about the upcoming 2018 Dodge Durango. We only know that the car will likely be released in 2018 and it should be priced similarly to the current model.

Isn't the current Jeep Grand Cherokee & Dodge Durango using a modified platform based on previous M-B GL/M-class platform? If the new Durango is a large CUV, it'll probably be smaller/wider/lighter then the current version.

Hopefully, FCA does a meaningful evolutionary design that'll make sense for the Dodge lineup.
