Tesla Pushing Hard With Discounts To Boost Quarterly Sales Figures

Cash use is outstripping availability for both Solar City and Tesla and Musk has to raise a lot of it soon to get the Model 3 into production AND buy Solar City. The discounts are only for "lightly used" models that would count as new for a typically automaker, but aren't coming straight from the factory with 2 miles on the odometer. These are floor models and cars used for test drives. Discount is up to $7,500 on certain models.
