Actor Steve Harvey Sues NASCAR For Half A Billion Dollars For Racial Discrimination

Steve Harvey wanted to start a racing team but his efforts stalled before they even got started because NASCAR is a good ole boys league and Steve Harvey is… well, Steve Harvey. At least that is what Terrance Cox, CEO of Diversity Motorsports, believes and has filed a $500 million lawsuit against NASCAR and nearly all of its racing teams.

According to TMZ Sports, Cox and Harvey planned to join forces to start a new racing team called “Steve Harvey Races 4 Education.” NASCAR reportedly told Harvey that they would never approve a team with Diversity Motorsports.

Thats right, make em pay Steve! Host of Family Fued, your own radio show, daytime talk show, author, and went from homeless in your early thirties and built success on your own!

Beautiful example of what it truly means to be American, I see why the entitled members of NASCAR are intimidated, this guy had the odds stacked against him and still ended up more successful than all of em

The article is a bit lite on content. If it has merit more power to him and shame on NASCAR. If not the judge will dismiss it as 1000s are everyday.. I am not saying we don't have a suing problem, but if this has merit so be it.

This smells like a stunt concocted to create a lawsuit rather than an actual racing team, though the lack of specific detail in the article makes it difficult to determine one way or the another.

Interestingly enough this article was false and he addressed this on his show this morning. He knew nothing of the lawsuit and doesn't like NASCAR at all.
