Jaguar's Top Of The Line F-Pace S SUV To Pummel The Segment With Over 500 HP

Apparently, the 380 horses that the current top-of-the-line F-Pace S makes is not enough when it comes to premium crossovers battling for glory, which is why Jaguar's Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) is busy working on an even more powerful version, likely to be called the F-Pace SVR or R.

Our spies spotted a prototype of the F-Pace SVR / R, whose camouflage tries to hide features like the more aggressive front bumper, while Jaguar also used a normal-looking exhaust to keep nosy photographers away, but they couldn’t hide the amount of angry noises this car makes.

If having the most horsepower in the segment is important to you, then this a win for Jaguar. For me, the total package offered is critically important, and a few items are deal-breakers, so the F-Pace S is not a "hands down winner" for me, though it might be a fine vehicle.

I think too much is being expected from the CUV/SUV type vehicles whose inherently higher center of gravity makes for a less stable ride at speed.Off Road- they certainly do not need more power.

definitely interested to see this square up against the GLC 63 AMG...video was taken of it and the exhaust note sounded like satan himself...
