And then stories that Apple is buying a military base that's used as a automotive test track, which never happened. And then the stories that Titan is being disbanded because the related execs are departing. And now reports that Apple is planning to buy a piece of McLaren.

Color me sceptical folks. It seems like a lot of speculation to me.

As much as I love some Apple products, I find it senseless to speculate that Apple, a company that has zero experience in the automotive sector, could "save" BMW, one of the most admired car companies in the world, and one that is amongst the most consistently profitable over the past several decades.

As for your allegation of BMW "making CRAP" and Apple being a prospective savior, have you not been following Apple user forums or the news, where AntennaGate, BendGate, ScreenGate (failing iPhone screens that aren't covered under warranty), the recent HissGate, iPhones bricked by iOS updates, etc., reveal just some of the challenges Apple has with their premium products.
