McLaren Says Apple Take Over Not In The Cards

McLaren damped down reports that Apple Inc. had made an approach for the British Formula One team owner and supercar maker.

"We can confirm that McLaren is not in discussion with Apple in respect of any potential investment," a McLaren spokesman said.

"As you would expect, the nature of our brand means we regularly have confidential conversations with a wide range of parties, but we keep them confidential."

I'm going to write a post about how TVR is going to buy FCA and become TVRFCA and then ink a deal with BMW to become TVRFCABMW all as a precursor to buying VW and becoming TVRFCABMWVW.

I would not be surprised if Mclaren ended up designing carbon fiber tubs/chassis for "iFruit".
