Norwegian Customers Band Together And Sue Tesla Because

Tesla shocked the world with the introduction of the Model’s “Insane Mode,” but a group of customers from Norway does not think so anymore.

A group of 126 owners of Tesla Model S cars has taken the American company to court because the “Insane Mode” is not as advertised. They want “unspecified reimbursements,” Bloomberg notes, because the car does not provide the level of performance that was proclaimed. Customers complained about the P85D’s Insane mode.

Tell them to put it on autopilot in insane mode and that will solve the problem.

Everyone touts the speed of the Tesla in Insane mode..but after a couple of runs, the battery is depleted, the motors/battery starts overheating and the whole thing goes into "limp home" mode.

Sure its fast for one or two runs but its a one-trick pony. Car and Driver included it in their recent "fastest cars" issue just to dispel the myths and it was the slowest in real world performance driving. Car and Driver wrote about what a joke it was in a sustained real-world setting.
