STUD OR DUD? Video Reveals The Best Look Yet At The 2017 Mercedes S-Class Interior

There's definitely no shortage of Mercedes-Benz S-Class spy videos, but the latest one is probably the most interesting of all.

Showing a production-ready model quietly sitting around in a parking lot with the driver's side window opened, the short footage reveals the interior of the flagship saloon, less than a week before it's expected to shed its camouflage for the 2016 Paris Auto Show.

New steering wheel and new "controller" touch device are the obvious ones. Wonder what else has changed.

Boy, the short wheel base S500 is oddly proportioned.

Love the S-class interiors, HATE the tacked-on-tablet look of the display screens. Same story in the new E-class. Even worse in the C-class where apparently after the beautiful interior had been finished, someone crazy-glued a tablet just as the car was leaving for the showroom.

At least S & E Class display screens are embedded within the dashboard unlike cheaper MB models such as the C Class.

THIS IS A STORY? A big reveal that only is distinguishable if you're looking at it from the inside of last year's S-Class?

UGLY ass long dash again. It that the ONLY design this weird dash comes in. What not have the drive-in movie theater dash. They make such a nice car and "F" it up with some Buick dash. MB you can do better then this on the dash.

its ridiculous to wedge an extended tablet into the dash. The dash is curvilinear and the tablet is flat. Such a poor way to integrate the two. Big dissapointment

My problem with the screen is WHERE it is - it is deep into the dash - I assume it is a touch screen - but can you easily reach all of the screen - it is wide enough the some drivers will NOT be able to. Turns out - the screen placement in My Mini-Van - jutting out from the Dash at the top of the "Console" area- is easy to use. If you need redundant controls - to make it easy - that means the design is not optimal.
