RUMOR MILL: Ford To Equip Shelby GT350 With Dual Clutch Transmission

The performance purists will never agree that automatics can enhance driving skills – though they do, and are also now way faster than a human – but Ford seems to don’t mind the agony screams.

Since we’re talking about America, of course more and more buyers are going for the automatics even when discussing traditional manual-touting sports cars. Porsche for example sells more PDK-enabled units of the 911 even though it has a great seven-speed manual. Now Ford is looking to join the party and the Blue Oval might be developing a dual-clutch transmission for the sporty Shelby GT350 Mustang.
