SPIED: WHICH All-New Vehicles Have YOU Been Seeing In YOUR Neck Of The Woods?
To me it's always interesting to see what all-new vehicles are selling where. While the Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet wasn't all that popular with Agent 001 in San Diego, I have to say that I've seen more than my fair share here in the New York Tri-State Region.

I guess people have money to burn.

All-new for the 2017 model year though are a slew of very interesting and capable products. Ranging from vehicles that are at the cutting-edge of semi-autonomous driving, to the latest and greatest sports cars, to large sport-utility vehicles, we're curious as to what you're seeing a lot of in your neighborhoods. And it has to be an all-new automobile. That's the key, folks.

If I had to pick ONE vehicle across all categories, I'd have to say that I am very impressed at the traction the all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class has picked up. They're all over the New York and New Jersey area. I've probably seen upwards of 20 all-new E300s roaming about.

Although they're easy to mistake with the C-Class, it's clear what it is due to its increased size over the lesser three-pointed star.

So, what say you, Spies? WHICH all-new vehicles have you been seeing in YOUR neighborhood?

I have seen 5 Range Rover Evoque cabiolets in the past month in NYC, Greenwich, and the Hamptons. Not my cup of tea but I'll be curious as t how many they sell. Looks like the Murano Cross-Cabriolet.

The local Mercedes and BMW dealers are on my normal commute - so I see LOTS of those - as well as Hondas.

The surprise for me was seeing a lot more of the New Chrysler Pacificas than I expected - for a taboo body style - they are everywhere. And while there are not "ALL" new - the newest Chevy Equinox with the new Chevy Style split grille is also ubiquitous as well.

But an even bigger surprise for me was seeing twice on the same day -two different new style Maserati Quattroportes(with the new grille) - I prefer the dark color to the light one. There is no local dealer for those. Most of my neighbors have Mercedes S class sedans - but now I see a lot more Bentleys and Maseratis. One thing I don't see much of is BMW or AUDI though. Time was - when all the kids had 3 series BMW - now replaced by LOTS of different others.

I don't understand why the new Pacifica bodystyle is taboo. A minivan that's doesn't look like a rolling jellybean or a shipping container is taboo?

The new Pacifica IS everywhere too, you're right!

My point was that it is a Mini-Van - and they have been considered Taboo

I actually own a Chrysler Mini-van - among the stable - and as a grandchildren mover - I can't think of anything better.

VPG MV-1. Seeing these all over Tampa. Took me a while to figure out wtf it was.

LOL!

I've seen these around NYC quite a bit too.

Revolting, aren't they?

To be completely honest, I'd rock one if it had traditional seating and came with a stow-n-go option.

I got rid of the Magnum RT in favor of a Dodge Grand Caravan RT because it's just easier as a road trip vehicle, carrying all of my sons crap with us everywhere we go.

For that Dodge Caravan - may I give a recommendation. At least once a year - bring down that spare tire(Under the car) - and lubricate all the parts of the holder. Or at least - spray it well with WD40 - or it will be impossible to get it down when you actually have a flat. Otherwise - they are good vacation vehicles.

Been seeing the CT-6 around. Long, sleek, its a really nice car. Seen a few of the new E's around but they're hard to spot. You see one and really need to look at the back to see what it is either a C300 or an E300 they're just too similar. And I think the mill is too buzzy especially for $60K Mercedes. For the money the CT-6 is so much more...

Funny - I own a CT6 and never thought of including it because I have seen only a very few of them. And that is interesting since there are quite a few CTS sedans in the neighborhood.

TomM, I was wondering if I could get your opinion on the omega platform. Would you say it is actually competitive with let's say the s class one or is it a matter of being 80-90% as good but much better value?

Trabants. Fucking things won't die nor the body won't rot. Official car of the West Berlin Ho's.

Maserati Quattroporte's in Phila/South Jersey between the 2 dealers Kerbeck and Algar. Believe it or not I also saw 2 Levantes in the last 2 weeks as well - Maserati must be kicking out a lot of dealer incentives to move vehicles.
