The Grand Tour will be the (new) old Top Gear which will free Harris, Reid, and LeBlanc to change their format. The three errors on the rebooted Top Gear were (1) hiring the patently annoying Chris Evans, (2) adding in utterly personality free Sabine Schmitz and Eddie Jordan, and (3) keeping the old format.

Harris, Reid, and LeBlanc were the show, but they got so little time.

I think we're set up for a win/win.

Of course this is an edited preview. However it looks very positive when compared to Top Gear. TG has it's work cut for it. However with Evans off the table Harris Reid and Leblanc do have a chance to make it their own.
