Track numbers don't matter to me, as I don't spend any time on the track, nor do I brag that "the product I bought has better numbers than the product you bought."

I'd rather have a Porsche, ANY Porsche, over the NSX II. I prefer the look of an icon over a kit-car. I prefer well-executed, gorgeous curves over New Age, trendy angularity and disjointed forms and "look at me, I'm techie" design themes.

But that's just me. I know the NSX II has its fans. I'm curious how it'll play out in the coming years. Will the NSX II become a legend, like the Porsche 911, or an interesting footnote[1] in automotive history, like the extinct original NSX?

[1] Yeah, I know there are original NSX fans and clubs out there. It's just that when conversations of automotive legends happen -- the likes of Ferrari Dino and Porsche 911 -- Acura NSX is not part of it.

I completely agree. The NSX is not going to bother Porsche one bit - the Honda simply does not belong in the same class

Oh boy! First Lexus and now Acura. Porsche should quit while they are still ahead or behind. I'm not sure anymore. This is so confusing.
