Wow. Over 200k units in one month. Clearly shows the impact of the new E-Class and how vital the car is for the brand. More importantly, it shows how well done the car is being received, even before the E43 variant is rolled out.

Mercedes has punked Audi and BMW. If played right, Lexus and Genesis can siphon sales from Audi/BMW.

Honestly kudos to MB. I've always respected them but ever since they launched the 2015 c class I've reluctantly become a fan. The only thing I don't like is that the price of entry for their v6's is really high.

Almost every single product is competitive and no other brand can say that. If price is no option they are the ones to beat.

You hit the nail on the head. Mercedes is building products that are at the top or near the top of their respective classes. Just imagine when a new CLS, GLE, and GLS are introduced. And can't wait for the new E-Coupe as well. None of their new cars has a glaring flaw like their past models used to - though the CLA's ride and quality may be the exception. This is a great time for the brand, and unfortunately, with the level of competition, they cannot afford to flinch at all.

@cidflekken given how the CLA was derived, it's not surprising that its ride and quality are not up to Mercedes specs.
