SPIED: Nabbed INSIDE and OUT, The Next-Gen Volvo XC60 Looks To Continue The Swedes' Sweet Success
Volvo has been having a helluva year with its all-new XC90 sport-utility vehicle. All-new and shooting the lights out from a sales perspective, the XC90 may be what the small Swedish manufacturer needs to have a renaissance.

I am rooting for them.

Following up the XC90 is the all-new S90 sedan; however, we're more intrigued what the company can do with its SUVs. The next step? That would be the introduction of an all-new XC60.

While the current model is quite alright, it's a bit haggard and showing its age. Considering the great departure ushered in by the brand, we're looking forward to seeing what the company has in store for the mid-size SUV.

If you were hoping for more creative inspiration a la the XC90 and S90, then you should be pumped. The latest spy shots, inside and out, show an XC60 that will take a lot of inspiration from its siblings.

And before all the detractor idiots start posting Volvo sales gains as a %, just remember that Volvo sales were in the toilet and the amazing % gains still makes Volvo a brand in the sales toilet.

Volvo=Saab

Well, for what it's worth, the XC90 is selling toe-to-toe with the Q7 in the US. Last month, it sold only 10 less units and YTD, it's outselling the Audi by almost 3k units.

@mdarringer. Volvo XC90 sales are doing very well globally and the car has won a lot of acclaim. It is much much better than the rebadged junk Lincoln sells. If the XC60 is as good as the XC90 you will see a huge jump in volume at Volvo as the compact luxury SUV segment is huge globally. Yes Volvo will never sell at Hyundai volumes because they don't sell $15000 cars and offer 15 year financing to people with crappy credit but the XC90 is a huge success in its segment.
