2009 Volkswagen Sportvan
Starting 2008 Volkswagen will start launching a series of brand new models: the Scirocco coupe and Tiguan SUV and a year later the Sportvan follows, to take on Ford’s S-Max.

The new Sportvan, codename vW518, will be placed between the Sharan II and the Phaeton saloon. it will be powered by a runs four- and six-cylinder rows of engines, and will use key components from the Audi A6 Avant. As for its size, the Sportvan is pretty close to the six-seater Merc.

The Sportvan will feature a a six-speed manual, stepless multitronic auto (front-wheel drive) or a seven-speed DSG ’box on four-wheel drive models. It will have a lenght of 5 metres and five seats over two rows.
