Galaxy Note Crisis Stalls Talks Between Samsung And Fiat Chrysler

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV's talks with Samsung Electronics over a partnership with its car-parts unit have stalled because the Korean company is focused on resolving the Galaxy Note 7 smartphone crisis, according to people familiar with the matter.

Fiat and Samsung also haven't agreed yet on the valuation of Magneti Marelli and the structure of a deal, said the people, who asked not to be identified because the negotiations are private.

I can't understand why. FCA engineers garbage for cars and Samsung does garbage for phones so it seems like a match made in hell.
