Subject: "Adpating" -> "Adapting"?

Anyone know why Harley Davidson motorcycles are used by so many U.S. police forces? Low total cost of ownership? Durability? Low maintenance? Nah. None of the above. It's because Harley Davidson "uses" Police forces to increase product mindshare. It's a marketing plot, and they do so through steep discounts, sweet maintenance and buy-back deals, and aggressive lobbying.

But of course Tesla is a totally different kind of company, and would never do anything like that. I bet the LA Police department thought this up all on their own and begged Tesla for the vehicles to do it. </sarcasm>

So the pecking order has been established: Tesla for high speed pursuit and i3 for local runabouts or parking enforcement. It sucks to be an officer in the i3.
