2017 Volvo S90 - A New Flagship Sedan
A few years ago Volvo stated that they want to rethink themselves as a company and surely enough when they released the XC90 it became clear that they are serious about it. Well, the second and third cars to join this major change in Volvo have been released quite recently. While many would say that this is an odd move, we are pretty sure that they know what they are doing. The all new 2017 Volvo S 90 has been officially released in Spain a few weeks ago. Even though there are people saying that it is using a crossover platform and that it is not as good as many other mid-size executive sedans, the S90 has to be one of the best out there.

Nice car and will be competitive. But I couldn't get over the rear 3/4 of the car which looks too 80/90's Oldsmobile/Buick. And the interior, while using high quality materials, is almost too Ikea-meets-Tesla-sterile for my tastes.

Like the video says, people criticize the rear end. I'm one of them, who aren't liking it. And as cidflekken mentions, the interior looks Ikea sparse and value style rather than luxurious.

Interesting, yes, but it wouldn't get me engaged enough to go to a Volvo showroom.

Looks nice. I would think there are enough people that like being seen as unique would like/buy this car; e.g. Subaru, Saab and Volvo fans. I personally like this interior more than the ever-slowing evolutionary style of BMW for example. But BMW fans, hold your fire, I doubt BMW will lose their fans to Volvo.

Love the front / hate the back and that's what I am also hearing not only here but also in Europe.

It will sell in numbers satisfactory to Volvo...old pent up Volvo fanatics, appealing anti-German dynamics to some, great interior design and comfort, Swedish design fans, tweed wearing pipe smoking Ivy leaguers plus dare to be different crowd.
