Audi Parade in New York City, Audi R8 American Debut

Fourtitude reports that next Wednesday, October 11 the Audi R8 will drive down Park Avenue in New York city, on its sides there will be the undefeated Audi R10 TDI diesel and a 1938 Auto Union Type D Silver Arrow race cars, other Audis and a police escort will top of the parade. The parade is expected to start on the 52nd Street and finish at the newly opened Audi Forum New York on the 57th Street. This will be the first showing of the R8 in America, the R10 will be the same one that won at Petit Le Mans this past weekend, the Ferdinand Porsche designed Auto Union Type D Silver Arrow is powered by a 550 horsepower supercharged V12 engine, amazing for 1938. that new Audi center in NYC will be hot/ I have heard of a "Lighthouse" store / Audi Center on Santa MOnica BLVD in Los Angeles/ Audi ownes the land they just need to build it damn it

Audi is doing great in so many markets in the USA (even dallis / fort worth. They need to focus on the Los Angeles market and the rest of the country will be theirs fot the taking
Audi is way up in most US markets but flat in Los Angeles. I think it is the poor dealers and buildings in Santa MOnica, beverly Hills, Long Beach, Van Nuys, and Norwalk. They have done well with Downtown LA and Torrance though

I like this car a lot. I must also say the headlights remind me of BMW's angel eyes.
Since this car is such a sinister, I guess I will call them demon eyes.

Why didn't they put the 550hp V12 from the Silver Arrow in the R8?
