The Chinese would not allow any global car mfr to sell in China without a JV Chinese partner. Or they could sell with huge, prohibitive tariffs. Thus the huge impetus to build cars in China vs ship them from here. So why will our idiot politicians allow any car exported from China without the same restrictions. Either build here and employ Americans or ensure the playing field is level. Perhaps these cars should be built in Geelys new Volvo plant? This is what Trump is speaking of when he castigates Ford for moving jobs out of the US. BUT he is really castigating Congress who should make it insanely attractive to keep production here vs move to lower cost area. Eliminate the business tax entirely! However this article is about sales and this model of on line sales is the next step especially when car dealers are such toads.
