#SEMA: BMW Reminds The SEMA SHOW That It Hasn't Forgotten Its Roots — MRated Batmobile, Early 5-Series and E30 Appear With H&R

While there's been much discussion about BMW in recent years and whether or not the company is heading in the right direction, one thing is certain. The Bavarians do not want you to forget its rich past.

Of course that not only includes great products on the streets but also what made waves on the track.

Send in the CSL "batmobile!"

That's exactly what happened as some noteworthy BMWs appeared in H&R's stand at the 2016 SEMA Show. In addition, it was joined by an E28 5-Series and the much loved E30 3-Series.

I happen to think this particular E30 is one fine example. Painted a bright orange and modded just right, it is one helluva clean example that doesn't suffer from all the negatives seen with many of today's existing E30s.

Agreed -now they try to be all things to all market demographics and have lost their way and me as a customer. Before in the 80/90's they were the ultimate driving machine. Now they are hairdressers cars -all style and very little substance. Pity.
