All-new 2007 Dodge Nitro In Depth
Not to be Mistaken for Any Other Sport-utility Vehicle on the Market

To better understand a new product, sometimes it helps to know what it is not. Take the all-new 2007 Dodge Nitro, for example.

Nitro is not another mid-size sport-utility vehicle with sleep-inducing styling. Instead, the bold styling and masculine swagger of Dodge (think Viper, Ram, Magnum and Caliber) is hot-wired into Nitro, inside and out.

I believe the boxiness as well as the fender grill give that away

Looks so much like the Hummer H3,especially at the rear, but i can also see Jeep Commander & LR3 reflecting from it.

Are SUV's the only vehicles american car companies know how to make? Eventhough gas prices are falling (believe me they'll go back up after the fall elections), can't they develop nicely designed fuel-efficient models? Apparently they haven't learned their lession, and that's why they will continue to lose market share to the Japanese automakers.

This is basically a more masculine alternative to the fruity looking Jeep Liberty.

masculine? ha!

but what is with american cars and tiny side windows? they make the cabin so dark!
and you know the great thing? we're getting it in the uk, part of dodge's assualt on our market place.

Yes, masculine COMPARED to the fruity looking liberty.
Point being, it doesn't take much to look masculine next to the liberty.

Looks like it will definitely be a winner in the lower end SUV segment.

The only thing closed to the LR3 is the fender, but everything else looks pretty much like a Dodge to me.

shoeboxes, exactly.
the h3? somehow, whil being about the same size as an lrs, is absolutley tiny. the interior? hard, GREY plastic with hard rubber grips everywhere. tiny windows, poor visibility, terrible fuel economy AND poor performance, the h3 is a very stupid car.
