Dodge Durango Shaker Concept

Having been around for six years, the third-generation Durango did not exactly have a stellar sales record, which is the main reason why the nameplate was on a hiatus. However, the new and pending re-launch just might be what the doctor ordered. And an updated interior is a nice touch as well. Still, let us see just what kind of goodies Dodge has for us once the Durango Shaker comes into play.

The Durango was on hiatus?? Aside from the model turn over circa 2010 where not many were sold in 2009 and 2010, the Durango has not been on hiatus. In fact, it is selling just fine. Granted it does not sell as well as the Grand Cherokee or a Ford Explorer, but its sales are not tiny.

A Durango Shaker is a great idea.

You have to salute Dodge...they know their brand values and polish them every iteration. Unlike Lincoln, unlike Infiniti, unlike Cadillac and unlike others.
