One of the year's biggest automotive events is the SEMA Show. We love attending the show every year because it gives us a chance to get in touch with the latest and greatest automotive trends.

Sure there's low riders, sure there's plenty of massive pick-up trucks, sure there's exotica.

We're in it for the modifications though. At this year's event it seemed like there was an oversupply of Ford F250s, Porsche 911s and plenty of lightbars.

Although the SEMA Show has evolved with age, we still find it to be one of the "must go," events every year. For some reason I do not anticipate that changing.

SEMA is definitely an experience, but it's like eating corn dogs and funnel cakes at the county fair. You love the moment, feel disgusted with yourself later, and then swear off from doing that again...then you do. This year's SEMA was like others. It was full of automotive eye candy and sugary garishness. For as much as I despise it, going is fun.

You have to admit though that the trends are different and there were some differences with some of the eye candy...

Indeed but there is infinitely more trash than treasure. I don't mind trash. I've been known to enjoy it, but SEMA is more silly than meaningful.
