#LAAutoShow PREVIEW: The Agents Get YOU Jacked Up For The 2016 #LAAutoShow
While we're huge fans of shows like the Geneva Motor Show and the Paris Motor Show, there's something to be said for the BIG, north american shows. That would include the Detroit Auto Show and New York Auto Show.
But, Los Angeles has its own vibe.

That's because it is a modern automotive capital. In New York most people would prefer the train or those stupid Citi Bikes. Detroit, well, is a bit of a mess. Los Angeles though still has a strong scene.
Because of this the automakers tend to bring some exciting vehicles to display in LA. While it use to be the "green" show, it's changed in recent years.
To whet your appetite before the show kicks off, I've hand selected some images from the years gone by. Take a stroll down memory lane with us, below!

"Jacked up" is a good description of the LA Auto Show. Nothing truly important ever debuts there. It's a nice outing to see concepts that have been show elsewhere for a year, but aside from that, this isn't "Geneva".

There's been some green and sports car debuts that were pretty good over the years...
I wouldn't totally write it off.

Not interested in the green BS cars, but you have to admit that REAL introductions rarely happen in LA. I go every year because it is expected.

I remember that horrible Cadillac ULC (Urban Luxury Concept) from I think 2010? Its an interesting idea but that concept is crap... That same year they had about 5 Lotus Concepts that were to come out, from the Danny Bahar daze...

The ULC on one hand could have been a great looking i3 competitor, but given how the i3 doesn't sell, like the ELR

When that ULC concept came out again, I think it was 2010, Cadillac only had the previous CTS sedan as a competitive car. They were woefully behind the curve with product. I saw that and thought is this the best they can do? The current line up is terrific but not moving the needle very much which is a real shame. I just hope when they refresh the ATS & CTS they change their names, lower their prices and up the content. And put some chrome on them too. I think a Cadillac should have a little more flash. Its a real shame the ELR wasn't priced properly I think it could have been a big deal. It was great looking with a first class interior... a real waste I'd say.

Cadillac SOOOOO needs to go back to NAMES.
The ELR could not have been priced properly because if it were priced properly for what it is (an electrified Cruze) then it would have needed to be priced like a Volt. If I were GM, I'd have priced the ELR like the Volt and NOT done the Aztek inspired Volt.
