...Audi currently has seven RS models, including the R8 and both hard and soft-top TT models, and a further eight will be launched by early 2018, Winkelmann has revealed.

Agree. While Audi's base prices seem "reasonable" for the segment, to get options you want, you have to add on bundles. Yes, all manufacturers do this, but VWAG in particular will take desirable features you'd want grouped together and then separate them into several bundles that you have to buy to get your short list of desired features.
