Most people don't know they need a navigation system until after they've had one. Using a detailed GPS-based map, an LCD display in your dashboard shows where you are, where you're going and gives turn-by-turn voice prompts (limited detail routing) to get you there. Preset specific addresses for the most direct route from wherever you are or navigate hands-free using the voice recognition feature.

Are you kidding? Cadillac's interior designs are some of the most un-sybaritic spaces of any luxury brand. The cabin of the STS is a joke compared to the spaces of its Japanese and German peers.

will, at least the bmw ones are well put together, unlike caddys. and they feel as if they were styled by a designer, rather than a bread knife.

There are enough import cars that are comparable to Cadillac that have free navigation. The Lexus LX 470, the Infiniti QX56, etc.

Cadillac has no appeal to me. I love the brand, but I am no diehard Cadillac fan who'd waste my hard-earned money on one of them. They're outclassed by the competition. Period.

I like the brand too, but, they aren't my idea of a luxury auto maker. They're nice cars, but they should be more in the comparable class to Honda or Toyota.

The new SRX interior is a huge improvement, yes. And I eagerly await the arrival of the new CTS. This will point the way for the next generation of Cadillac design.

Like BMW and Bangle, this next phase will be the "refining" of their design philosophy, and the CTS and new 7 Series will be coming out at around the same time.

The CTS will also (I hope) greatly improve their interior design. From the door panels I've seen in test mules, it could've come from any German sedan. In this context, that is a compliment.

Cadillac, like all GM, products fell behind in the interior department and other things too. I mean how can I forget the horrible interiors before 2005's
Chevy's and other GM products. All square and hard.
