#LAAutoShow: Come One, Come All — See The All-New Land Rover Discovery For The FIRST Time
It's pretty much undisputed that some of the world's most desired vehicles are from Land Rover's Range Rover division. The British company's vehicles are loved across all demographics and really has sparked a phenomena in recent years.

Land Rover's standard products, however, hasn't been as effective.

LA Auto Show

The Discovery Sport is middle of the road and the last-gen LR4 was dated by just about every benchmark.

Now though that may change. That's because the all-new Discovery is here. While its all-new exterior is a clean and minimalist design with some asymmetry going on its hind quarters, the interior is a different story. To me, it is very much so a Range Rover. While I am sure the quality of materials are different, the look certainly is similar. Just look at the door cards, dash and center stack.

What say you, Spies? Does the Discovery have what it takes to get YOUR attention?

No side profile shot? The back end does not appear very successful. :/

Weird ass end profile. I'm sure we shall see plenty on the side of the road waiting for a flatbed.

It looks a foot too narrow and a foot too tall. Ungainly.

The LR4 and older Discovery were narrow and tall.

It's just modernized.

I feel like Land Rover should have been distinguished by a more off road focus with excellent off road capabilities, boxier look with great approach/departure/breakover angles...appeal to the harder core off road crowd. Let Range Rover anchor the more luxurious end with sleeker designs, luxurious interior and good off road performance. This new Discovery blurs the lines and looses it's strong identity.

Is the Discovery now a minivan? Ass-end looks like one.

It's shocking how bad it is.
