#LAAutoShow: Agent 001 Snaps REAL-LIFE Pics Of The All-New Porsche Panamera And Panamera Executive — Thoughts?
One of the funniest things to see was the launch of the first-gen Porsche Panamera. Although the company had successfully launched a sport-utility vehicle, there still was a ripple effect of disdain when the company said a sedan was on the way.
And then we got our first look at it. Well, let's just say it wasn't the most attractive vehicle right off the bat.

This is where it got funny. While many lined up and attacked it for its outward appearance, boy, did that change once folks got behind the wheel. Somehow, someway, people started seeing the beauty of a Porsche four door. That's because it drove...awesome!
Now in its second generation, Porsche has upped its styling game. It's much more slick and a smoother design. Frankly, I think it has a bit of Model S to it. That's a good thing.
At the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show (LAAS), Porsche rolled out its long wheelbase variants. We're a bit surprised Porsche decided to give the LWB models another shot. They weren't rolling out of showrooms too fast with the first-gen Panamera.

Gorgeous. Mind you, I like the stock Panamera
FWIW, I prefer headlights without pixels and real controls at my fingers, but body-wise, this car is beautiful.

The rear looks better, but the car is still not as attractive as the A7 variants or 6-Series Gran Coupe.

The Executive version has more presence than the standard, so that's good. But the front end just continues to completely underwhelm. Granted it's better than the garish nonsense coming out of Japan, but this (the front-end, and somewhat the rear) is bordering on completely snooze-worthy.

the exterior is an improvement but the interior is where this car shines. It looks sleek and modern without hundreds of buttons.

Much improved--and I liked the original too. These cars are Porsche sedans and they look like Porsche sedans. This revision is better balanced, but still unmistakably Porsche.
