#LAAutoShow: Is Black Beautiful? The Lexus LC500 Debuts In A New Shade — Does It Do ANYTHING For You?
So, I don't want to sound like too much of a fanboi here, but I've been pining for the all-new Lexus LC500. As of right now I just love everything about this vehicle.

From its exterior look to the interior's execution to the RC F powerplant to the blue paint that was featured on the LC500h show car, it's a dream. It all just works in such a beautiful package.

But if the original production model didn't strike your fancy in that candy apple red at the Detroit Auto Show (NAIAS), perhaps we've got something a bit more fitting for you. A more formal look is to spec out a luxury vehicle in black. Lately, red interiors have been resurrected from the dead.

Do you see where this is going?

At the 2016 Los Angeles Auto Show (LAAS), our friends from Lexus brought forth a black Lexus LC500 with a two-tone, black and red cabin. So, what do you think?

Is the all-new Lexus LC500 a STUD or DUD in black?

Title: "...Is Black Beautiful?..."

It sure can be... but this car doesn't do anything for me, and the color isn't to blame.

I like it better in red, but this is quite lovely.

Gee - a more pronounced cow catcher grille - combined with a Corvette knock off rear end - combined with a conventional and nothing special interior - and from some views the greenhouse looks out of proportion. Beautiful is not a word I would choose. WHy is it that KIA seems to be able to produce better styling?

A Lexus ad came on yesterday and my wife, who is not into cars at all, saw the last image of their model line up in a group and said "What is that giant thing on the front of each one?"

I just don't get it. Does no one in their design department see how terrible this front end is?

With every new picture, this car grows off of me, like all trendy designs.

If Mercedes decided to build this car, smoothening out the rear window design and roofline, it would be the design choice.

Hard to tell from those crappy photos.

It is a considerable improvement. Makes the interior look more lux.
