#LAAutoShow: Will The Chevrolet Equinox Be GM's Next Volume-Selling Vehicle? 001's First REAL-LIFE Snaps Here...
As General Motors scrambles to produce a super high volume-selling product aside from the Chevrolet Silverado, we think it finally may be up to something. That would be the all-new Chevrolet Equinox.
Sure, it's not a polarizing design but that's sort of the point. Recall: There are quite a few buyers for the current-gen Equinox and now it's time to follow up with a proper encore. Don't want to rock the boat too much now, do we?

Agent 001 made sure to stop by the Chevrolet booth to take in the all-new Equinox. As you'll see below these real-life shots should help the Spies get a better visual on the all-new GM product. Those studio shots of were perhaps a bit deceiving.
Rather than feature the two-tone interior of the marketing car, this one has an all black cabin. Other trim bits and pieces you'll note are lifted from other vehicles in the GM parts bin. I am sure that's not a surprise to many at this point.
Having said that, you have to recall that the Equinox's big, bag competition will arrive in form of the all-new Honda CR-V, Toyota RAV4, Jeep Cherokee and Ford Escape.
From what YOU see, do you think it will take a bite of its competitor's market share?

Compared to the truly ugly CRV, the Equinox is a looker. It's also better without the black and orange interior which is disgusting. This will sell quite well.

The Equinox is already Chevys second best seller - as a really really old design - this new one should sell very well - and may even approach CR-V numbers. What really depends is what the Crossover BETWEEN the Equinox and the Traverse looks like and when it comes out. IF it is very similar but larger than the Equinox - you might have two crossovers in a place where they only had ONE before. THe combination will be a knockout for Chevy.
