DRIVEN + VIDEO: Take A Tuscan Spin In The All-New Porsche Panamera Turbo — BEST Sport Sedan On The Market?
If you're not a car freak like one of us, then I guess it would be easy to take a look at the all-new Porsche Panamera and ask "What's the big deal?" Well, then, buckle up because you're in for a ride.

That's because this all-new Panamera has plenty of differences. While its exterior shell may be a sleeker interpretation of the first-gen Porsche sedan, this one is vastly different.

Just look at its interior. It's off the charts, especially coming from Porsche.

Personally, my favorite things about this all-new Panamera are its new infotainment screens. While the last-gen Panamera had some interesting stuff going on in the tech department, this is another level. Check the clarity and SIZE of the screens.

And, of course, there's the performance. I'll let the host fill you in on that.

Speaking of which, scope out the clip below to see — and hear — more about the second-gen Panamera.

I take the all new 2017 Porsche Panamera Turbo for a test drive in the beautiful roads of the tuscan countryside!

Sorry - but the Panamera is simply too big to be the "best" sports sedan on the Market. This is a case where the term - "Sports Sedan" really needs to be reconsidered by the author of the "title".

I'm sure some people will buy one - but a small 4-door is kind of irrelevant. As you know, I am not a Tesla fan - but I'd assume that the Panamera is getting wiped up by the Model S.

What does a Panamera give you (aside from stratospheric maintenance and acquisition costs) that is better than a Model S?

Its better looking than the prior gen, but that's not saying much.

Tesla Model S = 1 / Panamera = 0

The Tesla model S lap time on the 'ring was around 9 minutes. The new Panamera Turbo did 7:38, which is truly stunning performance on par with supercars of recent history. The Tesla simply cannot brake or handle due to it's 5,000lb weight. I have enough money to buy just about any car I want and can't really think of any reason I would drive a Tesla. It's more of a gadget or appliance than a driver's car.
