The 2018 Audi A8 is slated to be revealed in late 2017, and it will be inspired by the Prologue concepts from the German brand. From a technical standpoint, the next A8 will ride on the MLB Evo architecture, which is termed MLB 2 by some. Multiple ongoing models from the Volkswagen Group use MLB Evo, including the Q7, A4, and Bentley Bentayga.

Shortly after launching the upcoming A8, the four-ringed brand is planning to start the manufacturing process of the Audi e-tron, the company’s first all-electric model.

It's going to be revealed IN A YEAR??? How much more pathetic can the plight of the A8 become. Audi needs a captivating new A8 now to battle the S Class because the Audi Avalon just isn't cutting it.

How much more awkward can they make the A8? The tall, out-of-proportion back end looks like it came from an SUV. The front is a cartoon. And the sides are coma inducing. Do something Audi!
