STUD OR DUD? 2018 Kia GT Stinger Caught In Preproduction Trim!

Kias upcoming rear-wheel-drive sport sedan modeled after the GT concept car has been caught hiding in an undisclosed location

While this is likely to be a pre-production model, it is obvious the design is a relatively subtle rendition of the Stinger GT concept first seen at the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show.

In Korea will be called a K8 but other markets may know it simply as the Stinger GT.

Maybe my eyesight is poor but I don't see much of a "stinger" look to this Optima.

I'm sure it's a great product, but I'm hoping the "awkward Optima" looks fares better in person. Granted nothing about this shot is advantageous to portraying the car well.
