well this is not true at all...

this is a hotel called Emirates Palace which is in the UAE (United Arab Emirates) they claim its a seven stars hotel...its great thats for sure...

the real costs of building this hotel are secret n was never published...

No, Emirates Palace too, it is unbelivable, and on the topic of the UAE..I have been there, and I can bet every single member on this site that there is no place in god's earth with nicer cars..This place is a heaven of automobiles, especially Dubai..

theman - hey uae is the place to be those days..well am a uae national and let me tell you it is heaven of automobiles alright but you really hate driving when the traffic is like crazy 24/7...but still uae is just an amazing country..

TauranLB - the picture is really old and i guess it was taken right after opening the place officially...the hotel get new cars every year bmw,bently,RR you name it...with great number plates too..:P

MikeG - i dont think its dangerous here..as i said i was born n living here and its no where near any wars or conflicts...

Two of my Russian "comrades" (lived and born in Canada from Russian descent) lived and were schooled in the UAE for several years. Although there is a lot of money there in the UAE, I would not say it is one of the most stable places to be, especially if you have semetic blood.

Oh and to clarify, the two friends were born in Russia. I was born in Canada, although the rest of my family was born in Russia.

Regardless. There is a reason why foreign people are paid a lot to work in UAE.

Arabs are sematic too by the way, and maybe your friends didnt like it thier because they are Russian, no offense but russians are known in Dubai for being prostitutes or pimps...The middle east is a very nice place, and arabs are friendly people, they have beautifull a culture and are very hospitable, not only the UAE but every other arab country, DO NOT LISTEN TO FOX NEWS and try to go to UAE,Jordan,Qatar,Bahrain,Oman..Very nice places with plenty to see..

For ur info, the U.A.E is safer than the US....

Absolutly right, it is very hot in the Gulf Area, but it seemed most of the Europeans loved the sun and the beaches!!And during winter it also gets better with a nice breeze at night... Plus, the Levant(countries like Jordan, Lebanon, Syria) have a nice mediterranean climate with all seasons passing through the year..Actually Lebanon has a mountain very similar to the Alpes where people go to sky during winter..And glad to hear that you had a pleasent experience in Dubai, arabs are tolerant and dont like harming others , just western media pushing this image deep into peoples minds..
