Orange Toyota 86 performance edition is ready to peel out in Japan
Toyota constantly keeps the 86 fresh in Japan by regularly introducing new special editions, and now the market there is getting two more. Solar Orange Limited comes in an attention-grabbing Creamsicle color, and the High Performance Package is true to its name by making sports coupe a little sharper.

The High Performance Package adds a set of Brembo brakes with red calipers and installs Sachs shocks. In addition, 17-inch wheels with thin spokes come with the parts and give the coupe a purposeful look. The performance upgrades aren’t nearly as extensive as the hardcore, lighter version that Gazoo Racing Masters of Nürburgring (GRMN) offers for the 86, but the parts should still make the 86 a little more fun around Japan’s mountain roads.

Unless it has a Toyota V6 under the hood it pointless garbage. The Subaru Super Beetle engine is fine for the idiot Subaru fanatics who adore oil leaks and valve train clatter, but Toyota let itself be prison shower banged by Subaru on the design.

Darringer-Thank you for your neutral opinion as always. Problem is a V6 would be too heavy forcing a complete redesign. A better solution would be to put the older 2.0 Celica engine in it or do a simple turbo from the WRX.
