Clinton Clean Up? Ex Ford CEO Alan Mulally Under Consideration For Secretary Of State

President-elect Donald Trump’s short list for secretary of state has grown, with former Ford Motor Co. CEO Alan Mulally now under consideration for the job as the nation’s top diplomat, a top adviser said today. Mulally, 71, met with Trump Thursday in New York to discuss the position, campaign manager Kellyanne Conway said on Fox News. Mulally, 71, helped engineer a turnaround at the automaker while avoiding the bankruptcies that befell its crosstown rivals, General Motors and Chrysler, now part of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV. He previously served as head of Boeing Co.’s commercial airline business division.

I'm sort of an anti-Romney Republican because during the campaign he ran his mouth against Trump like Romney was running for office. That was unwise. Moreover, Romney was specifically trying to help Hillary win, and that is unforgivable.

I think Romney is the better candidate for Secretary of State and I would be fine with that if there were a tongue lashing of Romney by the Donald and Romney pissing himself and knowing his place.

Mulally has no international experience, but neither does Romney. Mulally isn't an idiot and quite obviously can think fast on his feet. What he did at Ford was transformative for the company. Der token fuhrer should have given Ford free bail out money for not needing bail out money.

Mulally earned that.

He's definitely the less controversial choice.

Putin cares more about the USA than any of the self-pissing Liberals such as yourself.

Putin see the threat that Muslims are and has decided to do something to insure world safety.

He approached the Chinese--historically enemies of Russia--to hammer out a collaboration between super powers to address world security issues.

Obama--a racial token elected for the color of his skin but not the content of his character--turned the Russians back to being our enemy and that is antithetical to addressing world security issues.

Collaborating with the Russians and the Chinese is ESSENTIAL.

The Russians are not America's enemy, but Democrats are.
