2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid EPA Ratings Reveal 33-Mile EV Range
What’s the most fuel-efficient minivan out there? The answer comes in the form of the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid. Thanks to an 84 MPGe rating in EV mode, the Pacifica Hybrid is the first minivan to score a perfect 10 in the EPA’s Green Vehicle Guide.

The Environmental Protection Agency’s numbers surpass Chrysler’s initial estimates of 530 miles total driving range and 30-mile electric-only range. Officially, the Pacifica Hybrid is capable of traveling 33 miles as an EV, on to a total driving range of 566 miles. Definitely not shabby at all for a minivan.

I recently saw an article where the writer said that after the EV cycle had ended - he was still able to average 30.6 MPG on the engine alone on the Highway. I recently took another trip from NJ to FL - and averaged better than 32mpg on a non Hybrid CHrysler Minivan. And THAT is significantly better than the EPA suggested mileage sticker says to.

The problem I would have in buying a Pacifica is that with the Dart and 200 cancelled because FCA has neither the money nor the willpower to fix those cars' deficits and with major products delayed and delayed, the company is on the brink of collapse.

Jeep and Ram will survive by being sold to new owners, but Chrysler and Dodge are dead.

And the end is in sight.
